Counsel-keepers of the Golden Stool tradition. The Elephant Order holds that every decision is only as wise as the memories it draws from — they carry the weight of what must not be forgotten.

Guardians of land, water and story-roots. Every graduation plants a tree on the Fortress slopes — the oldest Baobab Order grove has more than two thousand trees, one for each child who has earned their mantle.

Heirs of the Hungwe soapstone birds. The Eagle Order watches the horizon that others have not yet turned to face — they are planners, architects of futures that will outlast the planner.

Bearers of Ma'at's balance. The Falcon Order knows that justice is not vengeance — it is the patient, exacting art of seeing clearly, weighing fairly, and acting in the light.

Masters of two worlds, water and land. Where others see only obstacles, the Crocodile Order sees passages — they move between worlds with a stillness that conceals enormous capability.

The shield-wall Order — no Guardian stands alone. The Buffalo Order teaches that strength is not the property of individuals but the gift of those who choose to stand together.

Heirs of Kush's legendary archers. The Black Mamba Order is patient where others are hasty, precise where others are reckless — they study a situation until the single right action becomes clear.

Anansi's makers — engineers of story and thing. The Spider Weaver Order believes that every constraint is a design opportunity, and that the most important invention is often the story that carries it.

Scholars of Timbuktu's night libraries. The Owl Order preserves not only what was written but why it was written — they are the guardians of context, without which knowledge is merely data.
