Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Afro Heritage Foundation platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account for a child, you agree to these terms on behalf of your child.

2. About the Service

Afro Heritage Foundation provides an interactive educational platform featuring comic biographies of African historical figures, audio narration, trivia games, and collectible hero cards for children ages 4–12. The Service is operated by Afro Heritage Foundation (LBG), a Company Limited by Guarantee registered under Ghana's Companies Act 2019 (Act 992).

3. Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Child profiles can only be created by a registered parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.

4. Subscription & Payments

• Free accounts have access to limited content as described on our pricing page.
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on your selection.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
• Payments are processed securely by Paystack and Stripe. We do not store payment card details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access
• Copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from the platform
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform — including comics, illustrations, narration, text, game mechanics, and hero card designs — is the intellectual property of Afro Heritage Foundation or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AHF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana.
