Ahmed Baba

Ahmed Baba was the greatest scholar of Timbuktu's golden age, authoring over 40 books on law, theology, and biography. When Moroccan invaders captured him, he continued to teach and write, becoming a symbol of African intellectual resilience. His works remain a testament to the rich scholarly tradition of West Africa.
