Yaa Asantewaa was the fearless Queen Mother of Ejisu who led the final Ashanti rebellion against British colonialism in 1900. When the men hesitated, she rallied her people with a legendary speech and took command of the war herself. Her courage became a timeless symbol of African resistance and female leadership.
