Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti mobilised tens of thousands of Nigerian women to fight for suffrage, tax justice, and political representation decades before independence. She was the first woman to drive a car in Nigeria and travelled the world as an ambassador for African women's rights. Her fearless activism laid the groundwork for gender equality across the continent.
